Patna : Covid-19 cases rose to 2,62,418 in Bihar on February 25, 2021, afternoon, as 61 more persons including 13 from Patna, 7 from Purnia, 6 from Katihar, 5 from Vaishali, 3 from Lakhisarai, and 2 each from Araria, Aurangabad, Banka, Darbhanga, Gaya, Nawada, and Saran, tested positive for the pandemic on February 24, 2021.
Of the 2,62,418 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in India, altogether 2,60,401 patients have been declared cured including 91 in last 24 hours with the recovery rate (RR) being 99.23%. The number of active cases in Bihar was 477 on February 25, 2021. Bihar has tested 22339594 samples so far including 32,961 samples on February 24, 2021.
The Covid-19 toll increased to 1,539 in Bihar on February 25, 2021, with 1 new death being recorded in the state in last 24 hours in Siwan. With this, the toll increased to 36 in Siwan. Patna has recorded 442 deaths while Bhagalpur has recorded 80 deaths so far.
