World No 35 Mannarino beat World No 191 Roberto Marcora, 31, Italy, in straight sets 6-3, 7-5 in 2nd round on February 25, 2021, winning 3 break points and 3 games in a row in the match. Mannarino, in all, won 81 points during the match to 66 by Marcora. Both the players fired 4 Aces each during the match. Mannarino will face World No 76 Radu Albot in QFs on February 26, 2021.

World No 81 Kwon Soon-woo, 23, South Korea, beat World No 109 Yashutaka Uchiyama, 28, Japan, 6-3, 6-4 in 2nd round winning 2 break points and 3 games in a row in the match.
