Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Getting admission to a premier schools of Bokaro Steel City is not an easy task unless one has secured very high grade marks at class X exam.
With the results of CBSE, ICSE and Jharkhand board examinations of  class X  already out, it is now admission session in Bokaro Steel City with 45,000 students along with their parents hailing from different states reaching the city and queuing up at admission counters for hours each day to get their wards admitted to any premier schools of the city.

Recognized as one of the best  schooling centre of Jharkhand  as the students studying in Bokaro schools have given excellent results in IIT, UPSC, Medicals and other examinations,  more than  45,000 students from Bihar, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh , Bengal  (Purulia, Bankura  border  district of Bengal) and far flung districts of Jharkhand  have filled up application forms for admission in class XIth and some of them have even taken examination in premier schools of  Bokaro steel city.

The most sought after schools to which students are seeking admission in class XI is Delhi Public School Bokaro, whose 136 students got 10 CGPA this year, followed by Chinamaya school. Besides these two schools, St. Xavier’s,   Pentecostal Assembly school, Ayappa Public school, Guru Govind Singh Public school (GGPS), MGM school, Holy Cross school, DAV school, Bokaro Public school, Crescent Public school , Sardar Patel school, Saraswati Vidya Mandir, ARS Public school, Kendriya Vidyalaya  besides Bokaro steel run BIV schools are the other  leading schools of Bokaro steel city where getting admission in class XIth is a very tough. More than 45,000 students  have applied for about 4,700 seats.
