Ara : The Anti Terrorism Squad, Bomb Disposal Squad and the CRPF defused four bombs at  Majhaua airport in BHojpur district on February 16, 2018, under tight security. Deputy Commandant, CRPF, Premkant, and DSP, ATS, Kundan Kumar Singh said that on February 15, 2018, police had seized four live bombs from a room of Harkhen Kumar Jain Dharmshala, Ara, after a bomb exploded there and defused them at Majhaua airport with electric detonator. Two criminals were injured in the explosion.

Five criminals from Telipada in Kolkata in West Bengal had checked in at Harkhen Kumar Jain Dharmshala around 6.30am on February 15. They were allotted Room No 10. Jitendra Kumar Singh, said to be a resident of village Ganghar under Ara Muffassil police station, had submitted his Adhar Card with address of West Bengal for allocation of room at the Dharmshala and the staff of the Dharmshala showed them their room on the first floor. As the staff returned to Dharmshala office, a bomb exploded in the room in which Madan Pasawan alias Vikcy Paswan alias Vrihspati Paswan, son of Mangal Paswan, was seriously injured. His right leg and index figure of his hand were blown up.

Taking advantage of the melee, all the four associates of Vickky Paswan including Jitendra Kumar Singh escaped from the Dharmshala. Jitendra took shelter in a room in Machhua Toli locality under Town police station but tplice arrested him from there.
