Patna: Bihar governor Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday requested the medical scientists to develop a low cost vaccine for prevention of cancer in the interest of common men. He said two crore people were suffering from cancer in the world and every year the number increases by 90 lakh while 40 lakh patiests die due to it across the world. In India, the governor said, every year one lakh people suffer from cancer. The governor was launching a free meal scheme started by Mahavir Cancer Sansthan for its cancer patients.
