Biharsharif : Three persons sustained gun shot injuries in a clash between two groups at Biharsharif in Nalanda district on February 3, 2018. The condition of two of the injured was serious and they were referred to a hospital at Patna while one of the injured is undergoing treatment at Biharsharif Sadar Hospital.
Stones were hurled and bullets were fired from both sides for about an hour until police reached the place of occurrence and brought the situation under control.
According to Nalanda SP Sudhir Kumar Porika members of two groups clashed over a trivial issue at Paharpur locality at Biharsharif. According to the SP, the situation was tense but under control and a meeting of peace committee will be held soon to restore complete normalcy in the area.
