Begusarai : Police have arrested the two persons in connection with firing at the residence RJD MLA from Bakhri in Begusarai district Upendra Paswan at village Kumharso under Gadhpura police station on February 2, 2018, night, leaving one person injured. The bike borne criminals had fired three bullets at the residence of Upendra Paswan, MLA. While the RJD legislator had escaped unhurt, one Naval Kishore who was seated beside Paswan sustained injuries in the attack.
According to Begusarai SP Aditya Kumar, the accused, Suraj Kumar and Raju Singh, were arrested and the motorcycle used in the incident was seized from their possession along with two countrymade pistols, four live rounds and a mobile phone. Suraj, during his interrogation, revealed that he worked at a parking lot near a railway station and had been nursing a grouse against Paswan ever since the latter had allegedly asked his employer to sack him, according to the SP.
