Bagaha : Police arrested three liquor smugglers under Dhanaha and Laukaria police station (PS) areas in Bagaha police district on September 12, 2018, and sent them to Bettiah district jail on September 13.
A Dhanaha police station team led by its SHO Harendra Prasad recovered 672 bottles of IMFL of 180 ml each besides 80 liters of sprit from two vehicles and arrested two smugglers during vehicle checking drive on September 12, 2018. The arrested smugglers were identified as Bindu Kushwaha of village Paroraha, PS Barawapatti, Uttar Pradesh, and Vijay Singh of village Patilar near Dhanaha -Ratawal bridge under Chautarwa police station in Bagaha police district. Another police team nabbed a smuggler Naga Mullah from village Nayagaon under Laukaria police station with 5 litres of countrymade liquor.
