Muzaffarpur : Three passengers died and 17 others were injured when a Delhi- Forbesganj bus fell into a roadside ditch near Garba Chowk under Ahiyapur Police Station, Muzaffarpur, on August 8, 2018, early morning as the driver fell asleep.
The injured were admitted to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, where 12 of them were discharged after treatment, said DM, Muzaffarpur, Mohd Sohail. The rest are under treatment at SKMCH, he said. The DM visited the place of occurrence as well as SKMCH and arranged for better medical treatment of the injured. An ex-gratia has also been announced, he said adding the bus was being lifted with crane.
One of th deceased had been identified as Indu Devi of Phulparas in Madhubani district, the DM said.
