Ara : Three incidents of cutting of hair of women on August 10, 2017, night, hallegedly by unidentified persons were reported from three villages in Bhojpur district including Amrai Nawada under Bihia police station and Sedaha under Tarari police station. The victims fell ill and unconscious after the incident.
Madhuri Kumari, 14, daughter of Gopal Prasad, was sleeping on the roof of her house at Sedaha village under Tarari police station on August 10 night when allegedly she saw four ghost like shape and fell unconscious. When her parents tried to wake her up in the morning on August 11, they found her unconscious and her hair cut. Later, she was admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital.
At Lahang-Dumaria village, Sindhu Kumari, daughter of Uma Shankar Ram, fell ill after her hair was cut on August 10 night. She was also admitted to the hospital. Hair of a middleagd woman was cut and she fell unconscious on August 11 morning at Amrai Nawada under Bihia police station.
The doctors said that some mischief mongers were spreading rumour and requested the people not to get panic. Bhojpur district administration is trying to know the reason behind cutting of hair of women.
