Nawada: Police arrested 27 persons including some from Patna and Samastipur besides several locals from a school teacher’s private school located near Warisaliganj police station in Nawada district on February 5 morning for helping examinees appearing at Bihar Staff Selection Commission  (BSSC) examination via sophisticated electronic equipments. Police also recovered various bluetooth devices, printers, computers, mobile phones besides several liquor bottles and a Bolero vehicle.

The group  had allegedly taken a huge amount as a contract amount to guarantee hundred percent success to the examinees appearing at the examination. The examination was being conducted at the residential school of Sunil Kumar, a teacher employed at Sambe village High School, 3 km from Warisaliganj PS. The abettors belong to Patna, Samistipur, and local villages such as Kochgaon, Naromurar, Kutri. Warisaliganj PS SHO Mritunjay Kumar was reluctant to divulge the names of the arrested persons on the ground that it would hamper investigation.
