15 bottles of foreign liquor seized at Ara

Ara: Government Rail Police (GRP), Ara, seized 15 bottles of foreign liquor from 512 EMU on Wednesday though the carrier managed to escape. SHO, GRP, Parashuram Singh said that an anti-liquor campaign has been launched at every stations and trains under his jurisdiction following direction from the government. He said the police has succeeded to some extent as frequency of carrying of liquor had come down.He said that a consignment of liquor was seized when it was being carried to Bihar from Utter Pradesh and added that the police were planning to arrest the liquor sellers red handed.
