Patna : The Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar rose to 2,43,248 on December 13, 2020, afternoon, as 500 more persons including 177 from Patna, 22 from Muzaffarpur, 21 from Saharsa, and 20 from Gaya, tested positive to it on December 12, 2020.
According to State Health Department figure, 19 persons from Purnia, 18 from Supaul, 15 from Katihar, 14 each from Banka and Siwan, 13 from Sheohar, 12 each from Nalanda and Begusarai, 10 each from Araria and East Champaran,9 deach from Jehanabad, Saran, and Samastipur, and 8 each from Buxar and Nawada, also tested positive to Covid-19 on December 12, 2020.
Of the 2,43,248 Covid-19 cases recorded so far in Bihar, altogether 2,36,737 patients have been declared cured including 548 during last 24 hours with the recovery rate being 97.32%. Bihar has tested 1,62,74,624 samples so far including 1,20,503 samples on December 12, 2020. The number of active cases in Bihar was 5,189 on December 13, 2020.
The Covid-19 toll climbed to 1,321 in Bihar on December 13, 2020, with 4 new deaths being recorded in the state during last 24 hours including 2 from Patna and one each from Vaishali and Munger. The toll increased to 342 in Patna on December 13, 2020, while the number of active cases was 2,143.
