Buxar : Police arrested a youth with a loaded pistol from near New Bus Stand on Buxar bypass road under Buxar Town police station (PS) on December 13, 2020, morning, when he was going to commit crime. Police also seized his motorcycle.
A named FIR was lodged by Buxar Town PS in this connection. Later, police sent the arrested youth to jail after interrogation. The arrested youth was identified as Sudama Singh, son of Anil Singh of village Budhanpurva.
SHO, Buxar Town PS, Ranjeet Kumar, said that on the direction of Buxar SP Neeraj Kumar Singh a drive had been launched against the liquor mafias and criminals in Buxar district. The SHO said that during vehicle checking drive near New Bus Stand on Bypass road in the wee hours on December 13, police intercepted a youth riding a motorcycle and when he was checked, a loaded pistol was recovered from his possession.
