Ara : An 18 month old boy fell into a pail filled with water and died at village Situhari under Narayanpur police station in Bhojpur district on May 11, 2019, late evening.
The family members buried the body but later exhumed it body under the pressure of his maternal-grandmother who alleged that the boy died due to some witchcrafts. The family members took the boy to exorcist but in vain and finally the body was buried again.
SHO, Narayanpur police station, said that 18 month old Ujjawal, son of Panchayat Ward member Julie Devi, wife of Sohrai Chaudhary of village Situhari was playing at his house during which he fell into a pail filled with water and died.
