Sasaram : Police, on a tip off, conducted raid at village Jigna under Dinara police station in Rohtas district on December 14 evening and seized 1,728 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) packed in 36 cartons kept in a Scorpio parked on the roadside though the driver and the businessman escaped from the scene.
In another incident, police raided the house of Jwala Sharma at village Mati under Kargahar police station in Rohtas district on December 14 evening and seized 3 litre of liquor brought there for the guest and also arrested Jwala Sharma and his son Ranjan Sharma and forwarded them to jail.
