Siwan: About 1,500 bottles filled with 272 litres of countrymade liquor were seized from a four-wheeler from Mehrauna check-post under Guthani police station in Siwan district on Tuesday morning. Two persons, who were sitting in the vehicle, were also arrested, said Guthani police station SHO Nirbhai Kumar. Kumar said that the liquor was being transported to Siwan from neighbouring Uttar Pradesh. Earlier also, the Guthani police had seized huge consignment of liquor being sneaked into Siwan from neighbouring Uttar Pradesh.
