Muzaffarpur : There is good news for farmers of Muzaffarpur district as six power sub-stations will be established in the district under Deen Dayal Upadhayay Gram Jyoti Yojna by December 2018.

The farmers of Muzaffarpur will be supplied power for irrigation pue from 12 feeders while another 12 feeders will supply power for domestic consumption. In 21 districts of North Bihar, 800 feeders will  be installed at a cost of Rs 2,874. 52 crore.

Superintending Engineer, Muzaffarpur Circle, Jai Shankar Jha said that the survey work for installation of new feeders in the district had been completed. He said the power sub-stations will be constructed at Rampur Bheriya, Bahilwara, Bariarpur, Aurai, Lohasari and Fatehabad. The construction work  will be completed by December 2018.
