Muzaffarpur: Kidnapping and subsequent brutal murder of a 13 month old boy Ankus at village Pandeh under Paroo police station in Muzaffarpur district has created sensation in the area. Body of the boy was recovered from a pond near the village on October 9 evening.
Ankush was son of Julie, daughter of Naresh Rai of village Pandeh. In view of strong resentment among the people, policemen have been deployed at different points in the area. Saraiya SDPO M K Anand is camping at the village. The SDPO said that Ankus was kidnapped and then brutally killed. Body, which was thrown into a pond, has been sent for post-mortem to SKMCH, Muzaffarpur, he said. Police investigation into the incident is on.
