Saharsa : Prohibition and Excise Department sleuths led by Excise Superintendent, Saharsa, Jamal Ashraf, seized 1,287 bottles of  Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 7 lakh from the basement of an under-construction house and a parked Maruti Alto Car at village Balahi Teghra under Balwa Police Outpost in Saharsa district on April 27, 2019, night.

The house from where liquor was seized belongs to Lalit Singh alias Tiger, who managed to escape with Mukesh Singh and Babban Singh. Police are conducting raids at different places to arrest them. The Prohibition & Excise Department team conducted raid at the village following tip off that a big consignment of liquor had reached there.
