Bagaha : Naurangia police station SHO  Harendra Prasad and Pathakauli police station SHO Subash Mukhia jointly conducted a raid with police force led by police Inspector Rambabu Kapari on the March 10, 2017,  early morning and arrested three liquor traders and seized 1,200 bottles of Nepali liquor kept in 8 gunny bags being smuggled into  Bihar for Holi festival through Narahawa  road which passes through forest to reaches village Naurangia under Naurangia police station under Bagaha sub-division in West Champaran district.

The arrested liquor traders were identified as Bikayu Nishad, 30, Mahendra Nishad, 42, and Yogendra Nishad, 30, all residents of Sohagibarawa in Maharajganj district in Uttar Pradesh (UP). A case under various sections of Bihar Excise and Pprohibition Act was lodged with Naurangia Police station in this connection and the arrested persons were sent to Bagaha sub- jail the same day.
