Ara: Twelve private BEd colleges under Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU), Ara, are in a fix as the verdict of the Patna High court has gone against them.
Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU) had organized combined entrance test for 1,750 BEd seats but 12 private BEd colleges refused to go with the university and field a writ petition in Patna High Court but the court gave verdict against them. After the verdict, managements of these 12 private B.Ed colleges are in dilemma whether they should go with the university or move the apex court. Meanwhile, the VKSU administration has banned admission of students in these colleges.
Vice-Chancellor, VKSU Leela Chand Sah said that annual examination of their students would be taken if they join counselling conducted by the VKSU. He said if these colleges join, counselling would be held for 1,750 seats. He warned if they do not join, annual examination of their students would not be held.
