1,000 bottles of Nepali liquor seized in Bagaha, one held

Bagaha : One thousand bottles of Nepali liquor of 300 ml each were seized in a raid conducted jointly by Naurangia police station SHO Harendar Prasad and Pathakauli police station SHO Subhas Mukhiya with their associates at Balahi Ghotha in Madanpur forest range under Naurangia police station on December 28 morning. Police also arrested a smuggler in this connection.

Bagaha SP Shankar Jha said that 1,000 bottles of Nepali liquor of 300ml each were kept in a bush for New Year celebrations. A liquor smuggler Chhotelal Sahani, 55, of Rampur Nankar tola of Nayagaon Rampur panchayat under Laukaria police station was also arrested and being interrogated.
