Yuki Bhambri lifts ATP Taipei Challenger title

Patna : World Number 105 in Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings Yuki Bhambri,25, India, beat compatriot and World Number 133 Ramkumar Ramnatahan, 23, 6-3, 6-4, in the men’s singles final to lift the ATP Taipei, Taiwan, Challengery title on April 15, 2018, securing 125 ranking points in the process. Yuki Bhambri was seeded four in the tournament.

With this singles title, Yuki Bhambri is likely to break into top 100 tennis players’ bracket. Yuki had last broken into top- 100 in 2015. Yuki is 4-1 head to head against Ramnathan. Ramnatahan secured 75 ranking points which will better his rank. The next ATPrankings will be released on April 16, 2018. ATP Challenger Tour is the secondary professional tennis circuit.
