Youth watching dance programme receives bullet injury at Ara

Ara : A youth received bullet injury while watching dance at a marriage ceremony in Bhaluhipur locality under Ara Town police station in Bhojpur district on May 21, 2019, night. The injured was admitted to a private clinic. An FIR was lodged with  Ara Town police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.

SHO, Ara Town police station said that Harendra Kumar, 22, son of Ram Kishun Yadav of Bhaluhipur locality had gone to watch a dance programme in his locality on May 21 night when two groups clashed over watching the programme. A member of one of the groups opened fired and two bullets hit Harendra Kumar. Harendra’s family members rushed him to a private clinic where the doctor performed operation and took out the bullets from his body.

Shot at : In another incident, some armed miscreants entered the house of Dheeraj Kumar at village Narbirpur under Chandi police station in the wee  hour on May 22 and shot at and injured him. The injured was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital.  An FIR has been lodged by Chandi police station on the statement of the injured but no arrest has so far been made in this connection. Old enmity is said to be the cause behind the incident.
