Ara : Three unidentified miscreants shot dead a youth at village Pachrukhia under Hasan Bazaar Police Outpost in Bhojpur district on August 29, 2020, late evening, and escaped from the spot.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Personal enmity is said to the reason behind the murder of the youth identified as Mohar Sah, son of Moti Kanu of Pachrukhia village.
SHO, Hasan Bazaar Police Outpost, said that Mohar Sah was standing at an egg shop at village Pachrukhia on August 29, 2020, late evening, when three miscreants reached there and shot him dead from point blank range. An FIR has been lodged with Hasan Bazaar Police Outpost in this connection and police are investigating the matter.
Sources said that Mohar Sah was allegedly member of a criminal gang which had looted some jewellery. The members of the gang had a tiff over sharing the booty. Meanwhile, Mohar Sah went to his relatives and when he returned from there, other members of the gang shot him dead.
