Buxar : Police arrested a drug peddler near Bata Showroom under Buxar Town police station in Buxar District in South Bihar and seized 30 packets of Heroin from his possession on August 29, 2020, late evening.
SHO, Buxar Town police station, Rajeet Kumar, said that a drug peddler Golu Kumar, son of Baldeo Prasad of Bari Tola, had been smuggling and supplying Heroin for quite long. Police got information that Golu Kumar was delivering Heroin near Bata Showroom. The SHO immediately swung into action and along with police force in guise of customers conducted raids near Bata Showroom and arrested Golu Kumar and also seized 30 packets of Heroin from his possession.
An FIR has been lodged with Buxar Town police station against Golu Kumar in this connection and police sent him to jail after interrogation.
