Youth shot dead at Rohtas village

Sasaram : Bike borne armed miscreants shot dead a youth Nitish Kumar Yadav at village Neema under Suryapura police station in Rohtas district on January 23, 2020, late evening, and escaped unchallenged.

Police brought the body over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Old enmity is said to be the cause behind the murder. An FIR has been lodged with Suryapura police station in this connection and police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

SHO, Suryapura police station, Sudhir Kumar Singh ,said that Nitish Kumar Yadav was taking rest at his house at village Neema when someone called him and asked to come out of his house. When he came out, motorcycle borne miscreants shot at him and escaped. The locals rushed him to Bikramganj Sub-Divisional Hospital where the doctor declared him brought dead.
