Buxar: Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a youth Shashi Bhushan Singh late Wednesday evening when he was in a garden at village Dahiwar under Industrial Police Station in Buxar district. Later, police brought the body to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
Lightning kills four in Buxar: Four persons were killed due to lighting at different places in Buxar district on Wednesday. Binod Bhar alias Gazar and his nephew were killed at village Kanjharua under Koran Sarai police station in Buxar district due to lighting. In another incident, Mohan Pal of village Raghunathpur under Brahmpur police station and Ram Ashish Pandey of village Basantpur under Murar police station in Buxar district too were killed due to lighting.
