Hajipur : A youth made an attempt to commit suicide by jumping from pillar number-28 of Mahatma Gandhi Setu under Ganga Bridge police station in Vaishali district on January 26. He was, however, saved by some locals and cops and later admitted to Hajipur Sadar Hospital. Ganga Bridge ps SHO said that the youth is a resident of Baranti in Vaishali district and is safe.
