Ara : A youth died while two others were injured when a speeding Pick-up van collided head-on with their motorcycle near Dularpur Bazaar under Udwantnagar police station on Ara-Sasaram State Highway in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on March 2, 2021, morning.
The deceased was identified as Shailesh Kumar, 20, son of Brijnandan Yadav of Zamira Ward No 7 under Ara Muffasil police station while the injured were identified as Aman Kumar, son Hem Narayan Rai, and Julie Yadav, son of late Doman Rai. Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there.
SHO, Udwantnagar police station, said that Sahilesh Kumar, Aman Kumar, and Juie Yadav had gone to Repura village under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur District on a motorcycle. When they were returning to their native village, a speeding Pick-up van collided head-on with their motorcycle injuring three of them. Police rushed them to Ara Sadar Hospital but Shailesh Kumar succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.
