Ara : Some miscreants kidnapped a teenage boy Jitendra Kumar, son of Ramashankar Mauar of Khadav Kala village, from Kharaon Chaturbhuj Sand ghat under Sahar police station in Bbhojpur district in the wee hour on October 9, 2018. A named FIR has been lodged with Sahar police station on the statement of Batar Devi, mother of the boy. In protest, mother and family members of the boy have sat on fast.
SHO, Sahar police station, quoting the statement of Batar Devi, said that Jitendra Kumar was kidnapped in the wee hour on October 9 at gun point. Batar Devi has levelled charge of kidnapping against Punj Kumar Singh, son of Raj Ballabh Singh, a retired teacher of village Dhandiha under Koelwar police station, and some employees of the Brodsons Commodities Private Limited Company.
The SHO said that mother and other family members of the boy are on fast and have resolved to remain on fast till the recovery of the boy. He said that the police are conducting raids at all possible places to trace the boy and arrest the kidnappers
