Ara: A youth , who was injured in an accident on July 6 at a Bhojpur village, succumbed to his injuries at a Patna hospital on Tuesday during treatment. Later, his body was brought over to his native village at Keshawpur under Barahara police station in Bjojpur district. A named FIR was lodged with Barahara police station against the driver and the three wheeler owner but police are yet to arrest any accused.
Amit Kumar, 20, along with his mother Baby Devi was going to Bakhorapur from Keshavpur to offer prayer at the Kali Temple there on his motorcycle on July 6 but on way a three- wheeler dashed his motorcycle from behind on Keshawpur-Bakhorapur main road and dragged the youth about one kilometer in his bid to escape. Later, the mother and the son were admitted to a private clinic but the doctor referred them to Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition after first aid. The mother returned home after two days but her son succumbed to his injuries.
