Youth crushed to death by truck at Bhojpur village

Ara : Angry villagers blocked the Ara – Chandi main road under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district after a speeding truck crushed to death a youth Krishna Mohan Singh near village Khangawa Laxman Tola on May 6, 2017.

The villagers burnt tyres and paralysed movement of vehicles on the road for about two hours with the body of the deceased. They were demanding a compensation of Rs 10 lakh and a government job to the next of kin of the deceased. The blockade was lifted after positive assurance from police officials.

Krishna Mohan Singh, son of Laxmi Nayarayan Singh of Khangawa Laxman Tola under Chandi police station, was crushed to death by a speeding truck when he was trying to cross the road. The driver of the truck escaped with the vehicle after the incident.
