Ara : Government Railway Police (GRP) seized 15 cans of Bear from a youth travelling by a passenger train at Bihia railway station on April 22, 2017, night.
The youth identified as Rahul Kumar, son of Raj Kumar Thathera of village Umera in Arwal district was arrested and sent to Ara jail. He was coming from Mughalsarai by Mughalsarai-Patna passenger train with the liquor.
In another incident, police conducted raid at a house in K G road locality under Nawada police station, Ara, on April 23 and seized 22 packets of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). Police also arrested Sunil Kumar, son of Vishwanath Prasad. He used to bring IMFL from Bengal and sold the same at Ara.
