Ara : Police on May 15, 2017, arrested a teenage boy Deepak Ram for making an abortive bid to outrage themodesty of a girl in the neighbourhood at village Kharpatta ward No 5 under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district. Deepak tried to outrage modesty of the girl when her mother had gone to the field for work on May 15 morning. When the girl raised an alarm, the youth escaped. A named FIR was lodged with Jagdishpur police station against Deepak Ram, son of Kailash Ram, on the statement of the mother of the girl. Later, police arrested the youth and forwarded him to jail.
