Ara : One of the four named accused in the murder of Yogendra Tatwa, a newspaper hawker, Shivsagar Rai, surrendered before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Ara Civil Court, on January 23, 2018, giving a slip to Bhojpur police. Later, he was forwarded to   judicial custody. Yogendra Tatwa was shot dead on January 17, 2018.

Four persons Brajesh Rai, Sona Rai, Shivsagar Rai and Ritesh Rai of village Ramdatahi  under Karnamepur Police Outpost were made named accused in the FIR in the murder of Yogendra Tatwa on the statement of his wife Meena Devi on January 17, 2018. Three other named accused are still absconding.

On January 20, 2018, Rameshwar Rai had surrendered before the court in connection with murder of Rajendra Tatwa, cousin of Yogendra Tatwa, and was sent to jail. Rajendra Tatwa  was killed four months back.

Some armed miscreants had shot dead Yogendra Tatwa near Khainiya Baba Bus Stand under Karnamepur police outpost on January 17, 2018, when he was going to distribute newspapers.
