World 45 Casper Ruud beat World No 69 Juan Ignacio Londero, 26, Argentina, in three-sets 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 in 2 hr 12 minutes first semi-finals on February 15, 2020, late night. Ruud fired 11 Aces in the match to 4 by Londero. The Argentinian committed 3 double faults to 1 by Ruud. The Norwegian won 7 games in a row in the match to 3 by the Argentinian. Ruud won 4 break points to 2 by Londero. The Norwegian, in all, won 86 points to 65 by Londero. He won 26 receiving points to 22 by the Argentinian.
Qualifier Pedro Sousa entered the final on February 16 morning after top seed and World No 14 Diego Schwartzman, 27, Argentina, retired injured before their semi-finals match. Schwartzman had lost in final of Cordoba Open, Argentina, to World No 26 Cristian Garin, 23, Chile, last week.
