Ara : A married woman died under mysterious circumstances at village Chilhar under Azimabad police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital on November 19, 2021, late evening, for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Chanda Devi, wife of Surjit Singh of village Prahladpur in Patna District. An FIR has been lodged with Azimabad PS in this connection and p Police are investigating the matter.
SHO, Azimabad PS, said that Chanda Devi had come to her sister-in-law (Nanad) at village Chilhar to perform ‘Chhath’ where she fell ill. She was admitted to Sandesh Referral Hospital where she died during treatment. Her parents alleged that she died under mysterious circumstances and so police are investigating the matter, the SHO said. The SHO said that nothing could be said in this regard till the post-mortem report is received.
