Sasaram : A case of outraging modesty of a woman, a native of village Karanj under Dinara police station in Rohtas District, by founder of a school for about two- and- a-half a year with a promise to marry her came to light after shes lodged a named FIR with Dinara police station against Ram Awadh Singh, founder of Charter International School and former Prakhand Pramukh, Dinara block. Police brought the woman over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for medical examination and are also investigating into the matter. –
SHO, Dinara police station, Siya Ram Singh, said that Ram Awadh Singh, 50, is a resident of Plastanpur village under Natwar police station in Rohtas district and is a relative of the woman. He proposed the marry her and her parents being very poor agreed to his proposal. After her parents agreed, he started outraging her modesty and she became pregnant. When her parents pressurised him to marry her, he not refused but also threatened to kill them if they further pressurised him for marriage.
