Buxar: A married woman Varsha lodged an FIR with Buxar Town police station on Friday against her foster father Lalan Sah and brother Jyoti Kumar of Nehru Nagar under Town police station alleging her sexual exploitation.

Before the police arrested the wo accused, Lalan Sah and his wife Manju Devi reached the police station in the evening on Friday and categorically refuted the charge levelled by Varsha with proof. They also appealed the SDPO to inquire into the matter himself claiming the charges were false.

Manju Devi said that she lived in Ahirpurva locality under Town police station, Ara,  but had to shift to Buxar to earn two squares meal for her family after partition in the family. She had four children- two daughterss Varsha Kumari and Mamata Kumari and two sons  Jyoti Kumar and Dhanji Kumar. Her three children Varsha, Mamta and Jyoti were born at Ara Sadar Hospital and Varsha was her own daughter and not foster as she had claimed and no one could do shameful act with his own daughter. She alleged that Varsha Kumari had escaped from the house last year and married  Kanhaiya Choubey who demanded Rs. 50,000 with a threat to kill a member of the family if the amount was not given. They filed a ‘Sanaha’ in the court on the suggestion of the police officials on Saturday.
