Woman gets her liquor addict hubby arrested at Ara

Ara : A woman got her husband arrested by police when he thrashed her following her refusal to give him money to purchase liquor while another woman got her son arrested for boozing in Bhojpur district on March 5, 2018.

SHO, Nawada police station, Ara, Subodh Kumar said that Hare Ram Ojha works in a private firm outside the state and had come home to his village on Holi. He demanded money from his wife for liquor but when she refused, he thrashed her. At this, his wife  informed police who arrested arrested Hare Ram Ojha on March 5.

Police also arrested Mukesh Kumar alias Babloo from Pachchhim Tola locality under Town police station, Ara, on March 5 for consuming liquor following complaint by his mother. Later, police sent both the arrested persons to jail.
