Ara : A married woman disappeared from her room at Dihari village under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district while sleeping on January 21 night. Later, her father Ram Awadhesh Yadav lodged an FIR with Sandesh police station blaming her in-laws for her disappearance.

SHO, Sandesh Police Station, Arvind Kumar Singh, said that Anshu Devi, daughter of Ram Awadhesh Yadav of Haiwaspur village under Kanpa police station in Patna district, was married to Ranjan Yadav, son of Ramuna Yadav of Dihari village under Sandesh police station, on March 9, 2016. The marriage ceremony was solemnized at a Shiv Temple at Bihta, Patna. Her husband Ranjan Yadav works in a private firm in Hyderabad.

After her marriage Anshu Devi was staying at her father’s house. On January 18, 2017, she along with her younger brother Satyanarayan, 12, had come to her in-laws. She was sleeping in a room along with her brother on January 21, 2017. Around midnight, her brother woke up and found that her sister was not there. He immediately raised an alarm. Herring his cry, Anshu’s in-law rushed to the room. They also failed to locate Anshu Devi. They informed her parents on January 22, 2017, about it.

Though her father blamed Anshu’s in-laws for disappearance of her daughter, the SHO said that it was a matter of love affair. The SHO said that police were trying to locate the woman and would take out Call Detail Report (CDR) of her mobile to find out the real cause of her disappearance.
