Bettiah : Sharda Devi died in a fire which suddenly broke out at her Bettiah Hospital Road house under Bettiah Town Police Station and her husband Pradip Kumar Sao sustained serious burn injuries while extinguishing the fire on late Julu 13, 2017, night.
Pradip Kumar Sao, who is under treatment at MJK Hospital, Bettiah, told police that fire broke out at his house after an explosion on July 13 late night. Police are yet to ascertain reason behind sudden explosion at their house causing fire.
