Aea : A middleage woman Lalasa Devi, wife of Sanjay of Doman Dihara Bazaar under Agiaw Bazaar police station in Bhojpur district, died during treatment at Sadar Hospital, Ara, on August 20, 2018, night. After her death, her family members and acquaintances got agitated and staged demonstration at the Sadar Hospital alleging that the doctors attending on her did not provide her proper treatment.
Lalasa Devi, mother of two sons and a daughter, was ill for the last one month and had undergone treatment at Patna Medical College and Hospital and even at Varanasi. When her condition improved, the family members brought her back home on August 19, 2018. But on August 20, she was admitted to Sadar Hospital, Ara, after she complained of pain abdomen. She died during treatment at the hospital the same night.
