Woman, child killed in Sheohar

Sitamarhi: Police under the leadership of SHO, Purnahia station in Sheohar district, Dinesh Kumar Tiwari,  recovered bodies of two females near Bagmati river embankment at village Adauri on March 1, 2017. One of the bodies is of woman aged 27 year with strangulation marks on her neck while another is of a five year old girl with her throat slit. Police are seeking help from the locals to identify the deceased duo. Sheohar SP PN Mishra said that prima facie it appears to be a case of murder for some unknown reason. The murder might have been committed probably at some other place. Investigation is underway to nab the killers. None has been arrested in this connection so far.
