Woman beaten to death by family members in Bagaha

Bagaha: One Salama Khatoon, 24, wife of Firoz Khan of village Marzadpur under Semara police station in Bagaha police district allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from ceiling of her  house. SHO, Simra police station, said that family feud is said to be reason behind the incident. Her husband  Firoz Khan has been arrested, he said.

Anothor woman Lilavati Devi, 60, wife of Ramraj Yadav of village Dhawahiya under Dhanaha police station, was beaten to death on July 7 allegedly by her family members in property dispute. SHO, Dhanha PS, Rajesh Kumar said that the body was sent to Sub- divisional Hospital, Bagaha, for post- mortem. A case has been lodged in this connection with the police station, he said.
