Ara : A married woman Sheela Devi, 28, was beaten up and also stabbed in cheek by her husband Kanhaiya Chaudhary in Sheetal Tola locality under Town police station, Ara, on May 12, 2017, evening for opposing illicit relation of her husband with another woman. She was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment.
SHO, Town Police Station, J P Singh said that Sheela Devi of Danapur in Patna district was married to Kanhaiya Chaudhary of Sheetal Tola locality under Town Police Station seven year ago. In the meantime, her husband developed some illicit relation with another woman which she always opposed. On May 12 evening, Kanhaiya Chaudhary was seen with the woman in a room of his house. Sheela Devi opposed it. At this, Kanhaiya Chaudhary lost temper and beat her up and also stabbed her in cheek.
