Woman abandons her newborn child in bush at Buxar village

Buxar : A woman deserted her newborn child in a bush on the outskirts of village Rawal Dera under Krishnabrahm police station in Buxar district.

SHO, Krishnabrahm police station, Manokamana Prasad, said that the villagers heard cry of a newborn child at village Rawal Dera on December 29, 2019, morning, when they were on stroll. One of the villagers Pushpa Kumari brought the child home and later informed Krishnabrahm police station. Police immediately rushed to the spot and informed the Childline. The workers of the Childline with the help of Krishnabrahm police admitted the newborn child to Buxar Sadar Hospital.
