Patna : Chasing a target of 322, West Indies were 183/3 after 26 overs with Shimron Hetmyer, 21, batting on 73 with 7 sixes and a four and Shai Hope batting on 46 with 5 fours and a six in the second ODI against India at Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam. Openers Kieran Powell and Chandrapaul Hemraj, 25, were out for 18 and 32 runs respectively. Marlon Samuels fell to spinner Kuldeep Yadav for 13. Hetmyer had scored century in the first ODI.

Earlier opting to bat after winnings the toss, India made 321/6 riding on an unbeaten 157 with 13 fours and 4 sixes by captain Virat Kohli and 73 with 8 fours by Ambato Rayudu.  Kohli and Rayudu added 139 runs for the third wicket. It was Kohli’s 37th ODI century and his fourth 150 plus score. Openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan were out for 4 and 29 runs respectively. Wicketkeeper M S Dhoni made 20 while Rishabh Pant made 17. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja made 13.
